MY FAVORITES MOVIES

Choosing only one favourite movie is very complex because I like a lot of movies but considering the time I am only going to name a couple of movies.

Let’s start. I can name Sans Soleil and Satantango, if the searches about these movies are very different from each other. Sans Soleil was directed by Chris Marker, the French filmmaker. This movie is very experimental, some critics as an “essay film” (in a  few words, the essay film is a kind of movie that develops different ideas and thoughts of the director in poetic form. More info: http://www.bfi.org.uk/news-opinion/sight-sound-magazine/features/deep-focus/essay-film), because Marker using found footage reflects on the cinema and society, and Marker thoughts drift towards other matters.

And Satantango is a Hungarian movie directed by Bela Tarr. This movie has duration of about seven hour!! But the long duration of the film is because the same story is taken in different points of view of the characters. The movie is about the problem that arise in a collective farm due to corruption of the characters living there. It’s a poetic and overwhelming film by the moral and philosophical subjects that treats.

The last movie I saw was The Grand Hotel Budapest in the TV. I like how Wes Anderson work with the composition and the perspectives.

THE BEST CONCERT EVER

Throughout my life, I saw many concerts.  This is because for several years I worked as a photographer in concerts, for that reason I have many concerts that have impressed me, but, if I had to choose one, it would be, without thinking it, the concert of Black Sabbath on Estadio Nacional, in the year 2016.

Why that concert? Because Black Sabbath it's my favorite band. For those who do not know, Black Sabbath is band from Birmingham, an industrial city of England, so the atmosphere of the city is usually a little gloomy (See Lota or Curanilahue in own country). This, added to that, They inspired by horror movies, they started making their music, could say that they created heavy metal.

Well, going to back that day, at first, I would not go, but from the page where I worked, they called me to let me know that I was accredited, if I had to go practically running to the concert. As soon as I arrived, the concert began and I began to photograph, then a little more relaxed, I realized, where I was, and I began to enjoy the concert.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

I would like to going to Cuba, because, my acquaintances have told me, it's a beautiful country (both in its landscape and its culture). I would like know the boardwalk, and the know the Havanna. Also my acquaintances have told me that the books there are cheap.

Also Cuba has a one of the most important Film Schools on the world, the Internacional Film&TV School (Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV/EICTV) in San Antonio de los Bañados.

I like the cuban cinema because the cinema made there have a interesting form of view the society and the cinema asthetic. Further the cuban cinema was very important for the development of the chilean cinema and the latinamerican cinema in the 60s decade.

Also many of my professors of the university studied in The EICTV, and they has made films and tv series that I like.

I hope someday to be able to study there and perfect myself professionally. And finally I upload this photo that is from the main entrance of the school.

PERSONAL INFORMATION ON INTERNET

To be honest, I don't like share information about me, because I like to keep a low profile. So personal information that I share in the social network is very little or nothing very relevant. For example I almost never upload photos of myself.

I'm so careful with my information on internet, because because it can fall into the wrong hands and that would be too dangerous.

The only social media I have are FaceBook and Flickr. I have FaceBook, because is one of the most popular social media, so that many of my friends have a account in that social media, this makes it easy for me to communicate with them. So in strict rigor, I use facebook to talk with my friends more than their content on the social network.

In the of Flickr, I like that social media because I upload my photography work and I also see the work of others. Although lately I have not uploaded anything for lack of time. I hope to do it soon.
